Is it crazy that I'm considering a $500 iPad, $100 joystick, and $15 game just to get this?
No.... ;)
All they need to do for iCade is come out with a Vectrex App and, heck, I'm totally sold...

Is this specific to iPad and iPod? The standard warranty most certainly transfers, since I have bought a Powerbook long ago on CraigsList and used the warranty to get repairs.
Yea, warranties do indeed transfer.

no, it's CSS3 download the nightly then visit this site. http://www.css3.info/preview/resize.html
Thanks for the link. It does look like WebKit's doing it with the CSS property, so that's good. Interestingly, that page is a good example of how easy it is to do strange, bad things to the scrollbars if you resize it to certain shapes. Developers will have to remember to set mins and maxes for all sorts of elements now if they want to allow resizing. The phrase "can of worms" comes to mind. Oh well.

It's impossible to be 100% certain is a crap response, because in many cases it is 100% certain, and i've named a few already. Also, the whole financial issue is very debatable and i don't think anyone here has solid figures on it. The only reason it may cost more to execute someone is because of all the appeals and court costs, this can easily be fixed so execution is the most economical way. I'm not going any further into this because my stance that some people are unworthy of life won't change. Peace out girl scout.
And if you get rid of those extra appeals then you will kill more innocent people, and how is that different from murder? And while I'm sure you will claim this is just an emotional argument and ignore it, but what about someone who is mentally handicapped and doesn't know it is wrong? Should they be killed, or treated?
And as far as your argument that in supporting the death penalty you are in good company, I guess you are as long as China, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen are good company, those seem to be the only ones who execute close to the same amount as us or more.

The studios want to avoid the experience of the music industry, which has yet to recover from years of illegal digital piracy. Apple must introduce a new model for feature film content delivery, said one studio executive involved in the talks. With the average cost of a blockbuster film approaching $100m, movie studios had more to lose than music companies, he added.
Wow, pardon me for stating the obvious here. But you can't "buy" a good movie. So there's no requirement that a studio spend $100 mil per picture. You don't have to use expensive special effects to bring in audiences. There are these things called "good writing" "engaging plot" and "talented acting" that I hear also draw people to theaters as well.

For those who cannot give blood, I understand that feeling as I'm in that group with 2 cases of cancer. Before I was diagnosed I did give a few (too few) times and wish I had given more.
For those who can give blood, I've seen the huge need. My wife had acute leukemia (ALL) and over 18 months of chemo was in desperate need of blood 10 times. Fortunately the blood & platelets were available when needed.
After that experience I felt I should have given more, but have no hesitation asking you to give a few units.
