How long after you make a purchase does the App Store remember your password so you don't have to enter it again? I presume that's what happened in this case.
It depends on your setting. Even logged in, it typically confirms once by asking if you want to purchase that app.
It was cool of Apple to arrange a refund. That should be standard policy, especially if an app isn't even completely downloaded.
For 99-cent apps, I'm less concerned about "try before buying"... when they start costing $10 and up, I think there has to be a way to 'preview' them...

You were stating point blank that the seizure was obviously fake, and using various random, similarly unqualified posters to back you up. Whether it was a real seizure, a panic attack, blind terror or pure acting, what does it matter? You have no way of knowing, and it is not germane to the subject. If you have seen somebody kicked hard in the head and they end up having what appears to be a seizure shortly afterwards, it is far more appropriate to offer support rather than assuming anything at all.

^^ Yep, losing his children could be the catalyst that takes things to a whole new level. If he's faking any of this it will come to an end pretty quickly, at least for his children's sake I would hope so. If he's genuinely lost touch with reality, then getting his children out of that environment might be a good thing.

Just placed my order. Saved $8 with education discount but shipping cost 6 cause it took the price below the free shipping limit. What to do with the 2 bucks I saved by being thrifty!
Now I will have 2 computers and 4 mouse's (1BT, 2 wired MT's and 1 BT MT). Lucky I have friends that will take my hand me downs. :)

Ahem... Time Machine!
I believe icerabbit was referring to a feature to restore an item to its original location once putting it in the trash. Windows has this feature in the recycle bin and it's a handy little feature.
This isn't to do with Time Machine as the user has not yet deleted the item from the Trash and the system.

The perception was that he was not in charge for a few years. If he was in a mansion and not a cave he might have still have a bigger role than we thought. I don't think this will end Al Qaeda but it could slow them down for a while.
I heard on CNN that the mansion had no Internet or even phones. I kinda picture him just hiding there, but in luxury.

The show hasn't been officially cancelled. Before today, they shut down production for the last 8 episodes for this season. Today, they fired Sheen and said they are unsure if the show will go on. Knowing Hollywood, they'll go on with a replacement. Oddly, Sheen replaced Michael J. Fox on his show when Fox quit and it went on for another 2 or 3 seasons.

The AT&T iPhone 4 is 3,1 and the Verizon iPhone is 3,3. That leaves one unreleased phone in the middle.

We knew all this Graphics stuff already like a month ago from the Engadget review.
We now have some actual game results now and it seems even worse than the 50% drop seen in the original review.
Instead of 50% of the performance of the 320M, we now have:
26% at a lower resolution in Wow
34% for Lost planet
Those numbers seem to suggest the ULV SAndy Bridge has even worse graphics performance than the previous generation Nvidia 9400M
They said the Series 9 gets 25 mins less battery life (http://www.engadget.com/2011/03/28/samsung-series-9-900x-laptop-review/).
PCMag says the Series 9 gets almost an hour MORE battery life (http://www.pcmag.com/image_popup/0,1740,iid=291739,00.asp). These reviews are all over the place, and only tell part of the story.
it is only 29min. Not sure where you get almost 1 hour from. And it was measured in Windows, so I think this is the most comparable number. Mac OS is known to be better at using less power than Windows. From this, I'd say there would be a marginal increase in battery life by switching to Sandy Bridge - nothing major.
