I have a couple Seagate drives I don't need. They are both:

250gigs capacity
Seagate Barracuda 7200.8
PATA/IDE interface

Used for backup purposes, not much actual "on" time. Tested and working.
Moving everything to larger SATA drives don't need these.

Will consider best offer. Looking for around $40 a piece.

Nobody really answered my question. I hate to repost it again just trying to find an answer. I tried to call the at&t rep and they don't know what going on.

I had iPhone 3GS 32GB had it about almost a year. They let me do an early upgrade for the new iPhone 4 in June when it came out for the price of $299 with a two year agreement.

The question I have is let just say the new iPhone 5 comes out with the same price point let say June release like last year. By this new $50 thing does that mean I pay for $549 price point or can I just pay the $299 plus the two year agreement like I did last year?

If the iPhone were to come out in June, you would not be able to get the $299 price with a new two year agreement. You would have to pay the $549 if you want the new phone immediately.

The reason that AT&T was so generous with their upgrades last summer is because they knew that the iPhone was coming to Verizon and they wanted to lock in as many new two year contracts as possible.

Here's what you do if you want the $299 price and you are not eligible:

1) Open a new line on your account. That will get you the new iPhone and the $299 price. You will have to get a new number tough.

2) Next, call and cancel the line on your 3gs. The ETF should be about $205.

3) Sell your iPhone 4 on Ebay or Craigslist. If it's in really good shape, you should be able to get $400-$450 easy. This will cover your ETF and leave you about $200 extra.

Appleinsider reports (http://www.appleinsider.com/article.php?id=2251) on a research note by analyst Shaw Wu about a possible second version of the iPhone from Apple.

This second version would incoporate Apple's iChat software and may be dubbed "iChat mobile". According to Wu, Instant Messaging (rather than email) would be the focus of the device.

According to recent reports (http://www.macrumors.com/pages/2006/11/20061115090741.shtml), one version of the iPhone has already been contracted out with target delivery in early 2007. Man! I've got a lot to learn :o Thanks for sharing those figures. The frustrating thing is the pricing spectrum for design is so wide, it's hard for a beginner to get a decent idea of what to charge. I guess I have to look at as many pricing sources as possible and and try to distill some figures? I have the "Graphic Artist Guild" handbook, but those prices are through the roof. I imagine they're for seasoned professionals working for major clients. Thanks again!

I was quite happy paying $100 and $400. I believe that I got a great deal!!

I suggest you to save your SHSH blobs using TinyUmbrella from now on. Even if you don't jailbreak. But with your SHSH blobs you have the possibility to downgrade. I restored to 4.2.1 myself because of various issues with 4.3+

And it's a pity that few people know about this and a huge fail from apple for not letting iPhone users downgrade their firmware.

When I turned 18, I did what I wanted to do, but when I was at home I told my parents where I was going to go. Not necessairly "Hey, I'm gonna try out these new tips I read about in Cosmo" but where I was going and when I would be home. I figured that I was in charge of myself, but I should do the common courtesy of letting my parents know what was going on in my life.

I'm starting to have doubts, mainly for one reason: The show is only a few days away, and there is NO leaked material. No prototype photos from Mister Blurrycam, no packshots, no peripherals... Given Sony's track record of keeping new hardware secret, I'd say it's not looking good. If they do show it next week, then kudos to Sony for tightening their security! :)
